India Needs to Make Crowd Control a National Mission: Anand Mahindra

A day after a tragic stampede at New Delhi Railway Station claimed 18 lives, Anand Mahindra called for making crowd control a national mission. The Mahindra Group Chairman emphasized the need for a robust crowd management template combining technology and process analysis. He urged Mahindra University to contribute by developing solutions. Mahindra described the incident, which occurred during Mahakumbh train travel, as a heartbreaking national tragedy. Indian Railways announced compensation for victims and formed a committee to investigate the incident.
