India's "Mango Man," Kaleem Ullah Khan, has produced a horticultural marvel by grafting over 300 different varieties of mango onto a single 120-year-old tree in Malihabad, Uttar Pradesh. Each branch of this wondrous tree produces a different mango with its own flavor, color, and form, drawing fruit aficionados and experts from around the world. Khan began experimenting with grafting when he was 17 and took decades to perfect his art. His passion was rewarded with the Padma Shri in 2008, one of India's highest honors. Some of his mangoes are even christened after A-list celebrities like Sachin Tendulkar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Khan's son now manages the orchard at 84, ensuring the tree's health and its fruitfulness.
