IndusInd Bank CEO Assures Strong Financial Position Despite Challenges

IndusInd Bank MD and CEO Sumant Kathpalia was optimistic about sustaining profitability in FY25, excluding losses. He forecasted the most important capital ratio to be more than 15% despite accounting differences affecting the bank's net worth. Kathpalia also foresees a dip in net interest income during the current quarter. The vehicle finance business of the bank is set for a robust fourth quarter, which can fuel retail growth. Even with regulatory issues and leadership uncertainty, Kathpalia assures that growth plans are intact.
