Infosys ADR Drops 6% on NYSE Despite Q3 Revenue Beat and Raised FY25 Guidance to 4.5%-5%

Infosys Limited, India's second-largest IT services provider, reported a 7.6% year-over-year increase in revenue for the third quarter of FY2025, totaling ₹417.64 billion ($4.83 billion), surpassing analysts' expectations of ₹412.78 billion. The company also raised its full-year revenue growth forecast to 4.5%-5%, up from the previous 3.75%-4.5%, marking the third consecutive quarterly guidance increase.

Despite these positive developments, Infosys' American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) declined by 6% on the New York Stock Exchange, closing at $21.515. This downturn is attributed to investor concerns about potential weaknesses in the upcoming fourth quarter, as indicated by the revised revenue guidance.
