Innovation Unleashed: India's Ambitious Plan to Seed Startups in Every District

India's startup environment is witnessing a record growth rate, with the government looking to set up startups in all districts by 2025. The nation has become the third-largest startup ecosystem in the world with more than 157,000 startups and an aggregate valuation of over $354 million. Initiatives such as the ₹10,000 crore Deep Tech Fund of Funds, improved PM Research Fellowships, and easier access to credit for startups are propelling this growth. With 48% of the startups now coming from tier-2 and tier-3 cities, India is fast becoming a job creator nation, promoting innovation across industries and geographies.
