ITC Hotels Limited has officially listed its shares on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), debuting at ₹180 and ₹188 respectively. This listing follows the company's recent demerger from ITC Limited, aimed at unlocking shareholder value. Despite initial optimism, shares dropped approximately 5% shortly after trading began. The company, which boasts a zero-debt balance and plans to expand its portfolio significantly, aims to redefine luxury in Indian hospitality. This strategic move is seen as a pivotal moment for ITC's growth trajectory in the hospitality sector.
