JSW Steel And POSCO Announce ₹5.09 Billion Joint Venture Deal

JSW Steel, one of India’s largest steel producers, has partnered with South Korea’s POSCO Group to strengthen its production capacity and global footprint. The collaboration includes a significant investment in Saffron Resources and the development of a large-scale steel plant in Odisha.

Joint Venture Details

Saffron Resources will now operate as a 50:50 joint venture between JSW Steel and POSCO Group. The partnership aims to leverage advanced technology and sustainable practices to meet India’s growing demand for steel while enhancing export competitiveness.
