- The recent Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between India and the UK has played a crucial role in boosting textile stocks, including Kitex Garments.

- Under the FTA, 99% of Indian exports—including textiles—will benefit from zero duty, enhancing competitiveness in the UK market.

- Indian textile producers, already benefiting from low labor costs and abundant cotton supply, are expected to gain further traction in global markets.

Expansion Plans and Financial Growth

- Kitex Apparel Parks Limited, a subsidiary of Kitex Garments, is undergoing a major expansion with a planned capital investment of ₹3,550 crore across two phases in Warangal and Hyderabad.

- The Warangal unit is set to begin operations by April 2025, followed by the Hyderabad unit in December 2026.

- At full production, Kitex Apparel Parks aims to generate ₹5,000 crore in revenue.

- The company reported a net profit of ₹41 crore in Q3FY25, marking a 105% increase from ₹20 crore in the same quarter the previous year.
