KKR Dominate as SRH Collapse in Run Chase

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) registered a commanding 80-run victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) after a clinical all-round performance. Batting first, KKR posted a competitive 200/6 in their 20 overs, setting SRH a daunting target.

In response, SRH struggled to build momentum, losing wickets at regular intervals. Travis Head (4) and Abhishek Sharma (2) fell cheaply, while Ishan Kishan (2) also failed to contribute. Kamindu Mendis (27 off 20) and Heinrich Klaasen (33 off 21) showed some resistance, but KKR's bowling attack proved too strong.

Varun Chakaravarthy (3/22), Vaibhav Arora (3/29), and Andre Russell (2/21) dismantled SRH’s batting lineup, with Sunil Narine and Harshit Rana also chipping in. SRH were eventually bowled out for 120 in 16.4 overs, falling well short of the target.

KKR's dominant display further strengthens their position in the tournament, while SRH will need to regroup after this heavy defeat.
