Leadership Reset At Canara Bank As Brajesh Kumar Singh Takes Charge As MD And CEO

Canara Bank has notified the stock exchanges that the Central Government has used its powers under the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1970 to promote Brajesh Kumar Singh, who is presently Executive Director at Indian Bank, as MD & CEO of the bank. The timing of his appointment is significant as the big public sector banks are keen on credit growth, asset quality and digital transformation.
