Lodha vs Lodha - Real Estate Empire's ₹5,000 Crore Family Feud Erupts

In a dramatic escalation of a family dispute, Abhishek Lodha's Macrotech Developers has filed a ₹5,000 crore lawsuit against his brother Abhinandan Lodha's firm, House of Abhinandan Lodha (HoABL), over trademark infringement. The conflict centers on the use of the prestigious 'Lodha' brand name, stemming from a contested 2017 family settlement agreement. While Macrotech claims it paid ₹1,000 crore during the brothers' 2015 separation, HoABL maintains the settlement was only ₹500 crore. The Bombay High Court is set to hear this high-stakes case on January 27, 2025.
