L&T Powers Up: Bags Massive Orders in Energy Transmission Sector

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has secured 'large' orders worth Rs 2,500-5,000 crore for its Power Transmission & Distribution (PT&D) business in India and the Middle East. The company will implement an advanced distribution management system in West Bengal, enhancing network reliability through real-time monitoring. In Saudi Arabia, L&T won a 380kV substation order for solar power evacuation, while in Kuwait, it bagged a 400kV substation project. The firm also clinched orders for EHV substations in Dubai. These contracts underscore L&T's growing prominence in the global energy infrastructure sector and its commitment to smart, sustainable power solutions.
