Lupin Secures USFDA Approval for Generic HIV Treatment

Lupin Limited has achieved a significant milestone by receiving tentative approval from the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) for its generic HIV medication, a combination of Abacavir, Dolutegravir, and Lamivudine tablets. This once-daily regimen is designed for pediatric patients with HIV-1, enhancing access to vital treatment under the PEPFAR initiative. Manufactured in Nagpur, this product aims to support low- and middle-income countries in their fight against HIV. Lupin's commitment to affordable healthcare is further solidified with this approval.
