Virgin Atlantic and WestJet have entered into an expanded codeshare agreement set to take off on March 30, 202512. This is taking place with Virgin Atlantic's launch of new services to between London Heathrow and Toronto Pearson International Airport, which marks the return of the airline to Canada after more than ten years16. The collaboration will connect seamless connections to the UK from 13 cities in Canada such as Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, and Ottawa, via Toronto12. With this collaboration, passengers will enjoy one-ticket booking with guaranteed bag transfers without the need for re-checking at Pearson's Terminal 316. The agreement will also improve connectivity to key destinations in India, Dubai, and South Africa via London Heathrow.
