Micron Breaks Ground on $7 Billion AI Memory Facility in Singapore

Micron Technology Inc. announced an unprecedented investment of $7 billion in the setting up of an advanced High-Bandwidth Memory facility in Singapore to cater to the ever-increasing demand for AI technologies. The facility, set to come on stream in 2026, will create around 1,400 jobs and may grow up to 3,000. This initiative does not only make Singapore's semiconductor ecosystem stronger but also places Micron at the center of the global AI supply chain.
