Prime Minister Narendra Modi spotlighted PMMVY during the 50th PRAGATI meeting on December 31, 2025, urging zero exclusion of eligibles and robust verification to prevent leakages. Innovations such as UIDAI-based Aadhaar FaceRD app serve as backups where FRS is unavailable, achieving widespread adoption across states and UTs.

The "Due List" mechanism proactively identifies potential beneficiaries from Poshan Tracker data, streamlining Anganwadi-level transfers to the PMMVY portal. Complementing this, a dedicated grievance module and helpline 1515 have expedited resolutions, fostering trust. PMMVY offers Rs 5,000 for the first child (in instalments) and Rs 6,000 for the second if a girl, excluding formal sector workers, to offset wage loss and promote nutrition.

This progress aligns with Mission Shakti, enhancing maternal health and girl child welfare nationwide.
