With Ramadan 2025 around the corner, mosques in Kolkata are gearing up to offer prayers and for visitors to join the atmosphere. If you are thinking about visiting the City of Joy during Ramadan, here are five beautiful mosques to visit and get into the feeling of Ramadan:

1) Nakhoda Masjid : Kolkata's largest mosque, which can accommodate 10,000 worshippers, features amazing Indo-Saracenic architecture. The mosque is filled with a variety of cravings and delicious iftar around it.
2) Tipu Sultan Mosque : Built in 1842, this beautiful mosque possesses six domes and tall corner towers and is welcoming to all, so people of any faith can enter and appreciate.
3) Niyamatullah Ghat Mosque : Over two hundred years old, the nine dome mosque is encircled by Hindu shrines along the banks of the Hooghly River, allowing for a special presentation of Islamic architecture.
