Mitsubishi Electric India marked its 15-year presence with this second facility after Pune's 2023 plant. The Gummudipoondi site, 40 km from Chennai, enhances supply chain resilience and sustainable manufacturing. The plant strengthens local sourcing, skill development, and Tamil Nadu's 31% share in India's electronics output. It supports global standards while cutting emissions via efficient systems and wastewater reuse. This positions India as a key hub in Mitsubishi's worldwide AC operations.
