Vada Pav, Mumbai's beloved street food, has once again made its mark on the global culinary stage by securing a spot in the World's 50 Best Sandwiches list, now ranked 39th by Taste Atlas. This iconic dish, featuring a spiced potato fritter nestled in a soft bun, has dropped from last year's 19th position but remains the only Indian entry in the top 50. The list is topped by Shawarma, Banh Mi, and Tombik Doner. Vada Pav continues to symbolize Mumbai's vibrant food culture and is celebrated for its affordability and flavor.
