NALCO Sets Historic FY26 Benchmark With Record Production And Sales

NALCO’s FY26 results mark a turning point in its four-decade journey. With record-breaking production and sales, the company has set new standards for operational excellence and sustainability, while laying out a roadmap focused on efficiency, digital transformation, and green initiatives.  

Production Milestones  
NALCO achieved its highest-ever bauxite excavation of 77.01 lakh tonnes and alumina hydrate production of 23 lakh tonnes. Cast metal output reached 4.72 lakh tonnes, while net power generation stood at 6,953 MU. Coal production also hit a record 40 lakh tonnes.  

Sales Achievements  
The company reported total alumina sales of 14.46 lakh tonnes, including 1.38 lakh tonnes domestically. Aluminium metal sales reached 4.74 lakh tonnes, with domestic sales at 4.61 lakh tonnes.  

Key Highlights  

• Highest-ever bauxite excavation: 77.01 lakh tonnes  
• Calcined alumina production up 11.16% year-on-year  
• Aluminium cast metal production up 2.61%  
• Total alumina sales up 30.74% year-on-year  
• Total aluminium sales up 2.82% year-on-year
