Navi Mumbai International Airport to Take Off: Grand Inauguration Slated for April 2025 After Successful Test Flight

Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) is set to commence operations in April 2025, following a successful inaugural flight test. An Indian Air Force C-295 aircraft landed on the newly constructed runway, marking a significant milestone in the airport's development.

The airport, developed by the Adani Group, aims to alleviate congestion at Mumbai's existing airport and enhance regional connectivity. Upon completion, NMIA is expected to handle up to 90 million passengers annually, featuring four terminals and two parallel runways.
