Nepal's Fastest Train: Jaynagar-Kurtha Railway

Nepal's fastest train operates on the Jaynagar-Kurtha railway line, running at a speed of 100 km/h. The train connects Jaynagar in India to Kurtha in Nepal, covering a distance of 68.7 km. Ticket prices vary, with general coaches costing NPR 56.25 (approximately INR 90) and AC coaches priced at INR 281. While this train is Nepal's fastest, it cannot match the speeds of India's Vande Bharat, Rajdhani, or Shatabdi Express trains. The Jaynagar-Kurtha line is part of a broader effort to enhance rail connectivity between India and Nepal.
