Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath during a public gathering at Bahraich stated that remembering foreign invaders who tarnished the tradition and culture of India is a case of treason. Speaking on the current issue in Maharashtra relating to Aurangzeb's mausoleum, he claimed that "New India" will not let anyone intolerable who belittle India's ancestry or hail persons who dared India's faith and identity. Highlighting Bahraich's glorious past, Yogi praised Maharaja Suheldev for having routed Ghaznavid general Salar Masud, and maintaining foreign invasions at bay for 150 years. He urged citizens to honor India's great leaders and Sanatan culture, which are now being respected by the world. The CM also appreciated the success of the Maha Kumbh at Prayagraj, in which over 66 crore devotees visited, showcasing India's cultural heritage.
