Tata Motors has launched the 2026 Punch EV facelift, priced between ₹9.69 lakh and ₹12.59 lakh (ex-showroom). Available in five variants, the electric micro SUV offers upgraded safety features across trims, including advanced braking systems, airbags, and electronic stability programs, making it a strong contender in India’s EV market.
The 2026 Tata Punch EV facelift arrives with refreshed styling, improved range, and a stronger focus on safety. Tata Motors has introduced five variants-Smart, Smart Plus, Adventure, Empowered, and Empowered Plus S-each equipped with a tailored set of safety features.
Entry-level trims include dual airbags, ABS with EBD, and rear parking sensors, ensuring essential protection. Mid-level variants add electronic stability control, hill-hold assist, and ISOFIX child seat mounts. The top-end Empowered Plus S variant enhances safety further with six airbags, traction control, and advanced driver-assistance features.
The facelift also introduces Tata’s Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) option, lowering upfront costs by offering battery rental at ₹2.60 per km. With improved safety, affordability, and range, the Punch EV facelift strengthens Tata’s position in the sub-₹15 lakh EV segment.
