Former Indian hockey stalwart Birendra Lakra has been appointed as the assistant coach for the Indian junior men’s hockey team. Hockey India announced the development ahead of the FIH Hockey Men’s Junior World Cup 2025, scheduled to take place in Chennai and Madurai from November 28 to December 10.
