CBSE Class 10, 12 Results 2025: Mark Your Calendars, Mark Your Papers!

With expectations running high among students and parents across the country, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will announce the Class 10 and Class 12 results for 2025 in the next few days. The results are likely to be announced in the second week of May, with some reports indicating a likely announcement as early as May 8, 2025, although the board has not yet announced an exact date.

  • CBSE Class 10 and 12 results are likely to be released between May 8 and May 13, 2025.
  • No word on the date yet, but past trends indicate a mid-May release.
Where to Check Results
  • Official sites: cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in, results.cbse.nic.in.
  • Other sites: DigiLocker, UMANG app, SMS, IVRS.
How to Access Results
  • Students will use their roll number, date of birth, school number, and admit card ID to log in.
  • A new six-digit 'access code' activation for activating DigiLocker accounts has been rolled out this year for enhanced security.
Exam & Student Statistics
  • More than 42 lakh students took the CBSE examination in 2025, including 24.12 lakh in Class 10 and 17.88 lakh in Class 12.
  • Exams were held from February 15 to March 18 (Class 10) and up to April 4 (Class 12).
Result Availability & Next Steps
  • Online released results are provisional; the original mark sheets have to be picked up from schools.
  • Grace marks can be issued at the discretion of the board to candidates who just fail to achieve the pass mark.
