Following increased tensions following India's "Operation Sindoor" missile attacks on terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, there has been speculation of the delay in declaring results of the CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 exams in 2025. The missile attacks, undertaken after the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam, have forced some schools in some border districts to shut down, and the attendant anxiety among the students and parents of not getting board results in time is the greatest cause of concern.
In spite of all these fears, no official announcement from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or the Ministry of Education has been made regarding any delay in the announcement of the results. Various reports in the media and education analysts have accepted that the delay can happen in such a situation, but point out that the process of evaluation is over and the results are most likely to be announced soon.
According to board sources and previous trends, CBSE Class 10 and 12 results are expected to be declared between May 13 and May 17, 2025. Over 42 lakh students are eagerly waiting for the results, which will be released on the official CBSE websites (cbse.gov.in, results.cbse.nic.in) and via DigiLocker and the UMANG app. Students must be prepared with their roll numbers, school codes, and DigiLocker login credentials for a smooth download after the result declaration.
In short, while Operation Sindoor has created some disturbances in the border areas, no news of delay has been officially declared, and students will be able to obtain the CBSE results next week.
