In a major diplomatic outreach following Operation Sindoor, the Centre has appointed 50 Members of Parliament who have been tasked with showcasing India's perspective on global fora. The cross-party list of MPs includes also crucial opposition leaders Shashi Tharoor and Supriya Sule, pointing towards a national unity following India's surgical strikes at terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. The MPs will engage with governments abroad, international forums, and diaspora groups to articulate India's stand on security, counter-terror, and regional stability following the Pahalgam attack and escalation since then.

By reaching out to ruling and oppositional sources alike, the attempt is to present a coherent message, dispel disinformation, and reassert India's commitment to responsible international conduct. The government outreach follows global attention to India's strategic restraint in the conflict and efforts to muster support for its security and diplomatic agendas.
