China Denies Knowledge of Alleged Fighter Jet Involvement in India-Pakistan Conflict

The Chinese Foreign Ministry has stated that it is not familiar with reports suggesting Chinese-made fighter jets were involved in the recent military tensions between India and Pakistan. The statement comes amid claims from Pakistan that its air force used J-10C fighter jets, supplied by China, in an aerial engagement with Indian aircraft.

 

Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has asserted that J-10C jets were deployed in the conflict, allegedly shooting down multiple Indian warplanes, including Rafale jets. However, India has dismissed these claims, labeling them as misinformation. The Indian government has not confirmed any losses in the reported skirmish.

 

The situation has drawn international attention, with concerns over escalating tensions between the two nuclear-armed neighbors. China’s response indicates a cautious approach, distancing itself from direct involvement in the matter. The Chinese Foreign Ministry has refrained from commenting on Pakistan’s claims, maintaining that it has no information regarding the alleged use of Chinese fighter jets.
