Classrooms in the Clouds? (The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority ) YEIDA’s Education Push Soars Near Noida International

The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has launched a new institutional plot scheme aimed at transforming the region into a premier education hub.

Announced on July 1, 2025, the scheme offers 15 plots for schools, colleges, and universities across prime sectors near the upcoming Noida International Airport, with applications open until July 31.

 

Of the 15 plots, 10 are earmarked for schools up to Class 12, located in Sectors 17, 18, 20, and 22E, ranging from 8,000 to 14,100 sq. meters. The remaining 5 plots, sized between 27,000 and 83,000 sq. meters, are reserved for higher education institutions including universities, medical and engineering colleges, management institutes, and integrated residential campuses in Sectors 17A, 13, and 22E.

Reserve Prices: ₹13 crore to ₹105 crore depending on plot size and location.

 

Application Deadline: July 31, 2025; list of qualified applicants to be released August 28.

 

Allotment Method: E-auction scheduled for September 4, 2025.
