Cultural Currents: Nita Ambani Makes WAVES by Taking India’s Soul Global

At the prestigious WAVES 2025 conference in Mumbai, Reliance Foundation Chairperson Nita Ambani delivered an inspiring keynote on "Taking Indian Culture to the World," emphasizing India's growing global presence through its art, music, cinema, fashion, and philosophy. She spoke of India's soft power as a characteristic force of the 21st century, requesting the world not to forget the wisdom of "the original AI: Ancient Intelligence," and to blend innovation with eternal values.

 

Ambani spoke about India's heritage-from the spiritual richness of OM and Sanskrit to yoga, Ayurveda, and epics the Ramayana and Mahabharata-to praising lavishly for worldwide Indian heroes such as Anoushka Shankar and Priyanka Chopra for upholding India's spirit in foreign lands. She credited Prime Minister Modi with his vision of returning India to the world stage and urged bringing tradition and innovation in harmony to illuminate a more value-driven, inclusive world.
