Deepak Builders Secures ₹1.21 Billion Unity Mall Project—A Major Win in Karnal

Deepak Builders & Engineers India Ltd has received a Letter of Acceptance for the highly anticipated Unity Mall project, marking a significant win for the construction company. The project, valued at ₹1.21 billion (excluding GST), will be executed at the HSIIDC Industrial Estate in Karnal, Haryana, and is scheduled for completion within 24 months.

Key Highlights:

Deepak Builders & Engineers India emerged as the lowest (L1) bidder for the Unity Mall EPC contract, securing the order after a competitive tendering process.
The scope of the project includes planning, design, engineering, procurement, construction, and all associated works, reflecting the company’s expertise in turnkey construction solutions.
The ₹1.21 billion contract (excluding GST) is one of the company’s major wins this year and is expected to boost its project portfolio and revenue stream.

The company specializes in a wide range of construction activities, including administrative, institutional, and industrial buildings, hospitals, stadiums, residential complexes, and infrastructure projects like roads and railway bridges.

Despite a recent dip in net profit (down 66.9% to ₹11.20 crore in Q4 FY25), Deepak Builders reported an 18.7% rise in operational revenue, highlighting continued business momentum.

The Unity Mall project is expected to further strengthen the company’s presence in the commercial and infrastructure sector, and could serve as a catalyst for future government and private contracts.

The project is set to be completed in 24 months, with the company leveraging its experience in large-scale government and infrastructure projects.
