Frankfurt-Hahn Airport and Tajikistan's Somon Air have established a historic strategic partnership, seeking to dramatically upgrade passenger and cargo links between Germany and Tajikistan. The partnership was signed on May 7, 2025, in Dushanbe and represents a pivotal move in further enhancing Frankfurt-Hahn's global presence and creating new trade, tourism, and logistics opportunities in Europe and Central Asia.
 
Partnership Overview
  • Frankfurt-Hahn Airport and Somon Air have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance and increase passenger and cargo traffic between Germany and Tajikistan.
  • The MoU was signed by TRIWO Hahn Airport GmbH and LLC Air Company Somon Air in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, on May 7, 2025.
