Vijay Pratap Singh, a former banker from Pune, left the corporate rat race at 23 to pursue his passion for mountaineering. Presently, he is the proprietor of AdvenThrill, an adventure tour company in Dehradun, that has achieved ₹10 crore turnover and is transforming India's trekking sector. Singh is originally from a village in UP, but developed a love for the outdoors when he realized Dehradun's proximity to the Himalayas. He was working in IT and banking prior to meticulously planning AdvenThrill, applying his business acumen and mountaineering knowledge.

Key Highlights:

Calculated Leap: Singh quit banking to begin AdvenThrill, offering safe, guided walks for students, professionals, and even the visually impaired.

Expert-Led Teams: We employ certified trek guides, former Army mentors, and first-aid attendants on board to ensure quality and safety.

Pandemic Pivot: Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, AdvenThrill remained connected by holding virtual marathons and online engagement.

Quality Over Quantity: Limiting treks to 10–20 a year, Singh prioritizes safety, experience, and local community involvement.

National Impact: AdvenThrill has mapped new trekking routes in India and Nepal, with a vision to put India on the global adventure tourism map.

Prediction: Vijay's path is one of following one's passion with planning and intention. With AdvenThrill growing, it is not only building a business, but a legacy for Indian adventure tourism
