Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation And NTPC Sign MoU For Coal And Lignite Gasification

In a significant step toward energy innovation, GMDC and NTPC have entered into an MoU to jointly explore coal and lignite gasification. This advanced process converts coal and lignite into synthetic gas, which can be used for power generation, chemical production, and other industrial applications.  

Officials stated that the collaboration will focus on developing scalable gasification technologies, enhancing efficiency, and reducing environmental impact.
