At the 4th India-Central Asia Dialogue held in New Delhi, foreign ministers from India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan pledged collaborative efforts in global public health, sustainable development, and climate resilience. The meeting reinforced shared priorities, including India’s One Earth, One Health vision, the DAKSHIN initiative for South-South cooperation, and clean energy platforms like the International Solar Alliance (ISA).
 
1. Health Cooperation & Medical Tourism
  • Ministers agreed to enhance healthcare infrastructure and service delivery across Central Asia under the One Earth, One Health framework.
  • India offered technical support to help design Universal Health Coverage (UHC) models tailored for Central Asian nations.
  • A Joint Working Group on Healthcare Cooperation is being explored to deepen collaboration in medical tourism and traditional medicine.
2. Climate Resilience & Environmental Protection
  • The dialogue highlighted the First High-Level International Conference on Glaciers' Preservation held in Dushanbe from May 29 to 31, 2025, emphasizing the importance of glaciers for sustainable socio-economic development.
  • India encouraged Central Asian nations to join ISA, supporting clean energy transitions and Paris Agreement implementation.
  • Participation in Global Biofuels Alliance (GBA) and the Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (CDRI) was also discussed.
3. Future Outlook & Strengthening Partnerships
The Ministers expressed gratitude to India for its hospitality and agreed to expand partnerships in healthcare, climate action, and sustainable development.
 
The dialogue reflected a growing convergence between India and Central Asia on holistic, cross-sectoral cooperation.
