The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has rescheduled all the pending CA Final, Intermediate, and Post Qualification Course (PQC) exams from May 9 to 14, 2025, in light of rising tensions and security threats following the India-Pakistan confrontation. The decision affects thousands of candidates in the country, particularly in sensitive regions, as cross-border shelling and security operations are on the rise.

The papers that have been affected are Group II exams for Final and Intermediate levels and the International Taxation Assessment Test (INTT–AT). ICAI has assured students that fresh dates will be intimated soon on its official website, asking them to stay updated and not believe in rumors.

Examinations already held and those to be held later in May, such as CA Foundation and some Final papers, are not affected. The same delays have also been announced for the universities in Kashmir.
