Bratislava: On her official visit to Slovakia, President Droupadi Murmu emphasized the vast potential of Indian capabilities in propelling Slovakia's economic growth. At the Slovakia-India Business Forum in Bratislava, she emphasized India as one of the world's fastest-growing economies and invited Slovak industry to partner with it through the 'Make in India' scheme.
President Murmu stressed Slovakia's requirement for high-quality professionals to address manpower needs and was confident that Indian expertise could be instrumental in enhancing bilateral relations. She highlighted that India's vibrant startup culture, vast consumer market, and talented human resource base complement Slovakia's robust industrial base and geostrategic location in Europe.
The President also recognized the auto industry as one of the strong connectors between the two countries, using the example of successful cooperation at Tata Motors' Jaguar Land Rover factory in Nitra. She challenged business leaders to grab opportunities for greater trade and investment ties, envisioning India's economy hitting $5 trillion in the next few years.
President Murmu ended by reiterating India's commitment to the development of mutual growth and thanking Slovakia for the warm hospitality she received during her visit.
