The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur will release the JEE Advanced 2025 response sheet today, May 22, at 5 PM on the official website, jeeadv.ac.in. The release is important for the around 2.5 lakh students who wrote the JEE Advanced examination conducted on May 18, 2025, in two shifts in the country.

Why the Response Sheet is Important
The response sheet has the responses indicated by each candidate during the test. Downloading their response sheet, candidates can verify their responses against the forthcoming provisional answer key—for release on May 26—and approximate their scores prior to the declaration of official results. Such openness enables candidates to judge their performance and prepare themselves for the next stage in the admission process.

How to Download the JEE Advanced 2025 Response Sheet
Students can download and view their response sheets through the following steps:
  • Go to the official JEE Advanced website: jeeadv.ac.in
  • Click on the JEE Advanced 2025 response sheet link
  • Log in through your registration number, date of birth, and registered mobile number or password
  • The response sheet will appear on the screen
  • Download and save it for future use
What's Next?
  • Provisional Answer Key: To be published on May 26, 2025. Candidates can compare their answers and raise objections, if any, between May 26 and May 27.
  • Final Answer Key and Results: Final answer key and result will be declared on June 2, 2025, after evaluation of all objections.
  • Counselling: Successful candidates will go for JoSAA counselling, likely to commence from June 3, 2025.
Additional Information
  • The JEE Advanced 2025 was organized in computer-based mode and is the doorway to admissions to undergraduate programmes in engineering at the IITs.
  • This year's test was said to be more difficult than before, with experts saying there could be a decline in the cutoff scores.
