Jaiswal’s Captaincy Spark Ignites India A; Gill Ready to Shine in England!

The BCCI announced India A squad for England tour, featuring key players like Yashasvi Jaiswal, Dhruv Jurel (vice-captain & wicketkeeper), and pace bowler Tushar Deshpande. Abhimanyu Easwaran will captain the team in two match-first class against England Lions at Canterbury (May 30) and Northampton (June 6) and an intra-squad fixture against the senior Indian team at Beckenham (June 13-16). Notably, Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan will arrive in the team ahead of the second match, providing valuable preparation for the five-match Test series from June 20. Jaiswal, having only finished a scintillating 2024 season with 1,478 runs, is likely to shore up the batting, while Gill looks forward to leading India's Test side for the first time.
