Kangana Ranaut's political thriller, 'Emergency', has digitally released on Netflix, coinciding with Holi festivities. The film was initially set to release on March 17 but was advanced to March 14. Kangana directs and plays the role of Indira Gandhi in 'Emergency', which delves into the period of India's Emergency between 1975 and 1977. The film was surrounded by a lot of controversy and censorship problems prior to its release in theaters in January. While the director has been accused of numerous errors, Kangana stands tall about her work, terming it as her second directorial attempt.
