Whether you're fighting hair fall or in search of a chemical-free, natural solution, kadi patta (curry leaves) oil could be your new best friend. Packed with proteins, beta-carotene, and antioxidants, curry leaves fortify hair follicles, prevent breakage, and encourage healthy growth. Here's how to create this miracle oil at home with simple kitchen ingredients.

1. Ingredients You’ll Need
  • 1 cup coconut oil (preferably cold-pressed)
  • ¼ cup fresh curry leaves (washed and dried)
  • ¼ cup fresh amla (chopped) or dried amla
  • 1 tablespoon fenugreek (methi) seeds
2. Method 1: Traditional Infusion
  • Step 1: In a heavy-bottomed pan, combine coconut oil, curry leaves, amla, and methi seeds.
  • Step 2: Cook on low flame until the moisture evaporates and the herbs turn brown.
  • Step 3: Stop heating and let the mixture steep overnight.
  • Step 4: Strain the oil into a glass jar and store in a dry, cool place.
  • Usage: Apply twice a week, applying to the scalp and leaving it on for at least an hour before washing.
3. Method 2: Paste-Based Extraction
  • Step 1: Soak methi seeds overnight for 10 hours.
  • Step 2: Grind soaked methi, curry leaves, and amla into a paste using your favorite oil (olive, sesame, or coconut).
  • Step 3: Strain using a muslin cloth and store the oil in a clean jar.
  • Usage: Use weekly to nourish roots and stop hair fall.
Why It Works
Curry leaves have amino acids and antioxidants that repair damaged locks, amla boosts collagen levels and methi seeds check dandruff as well as redness on the scalp. Together, they make a powerful elixir for healthier hair that is full of shine.
