In an electrifying showdown, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) set a challenging total of 179/6 in their 20 overs against Chennai Super Kings (CSK). Ajinkya Rahane led the charge with a classy 48 off 33 balls, anchoring the innings with four boundaries and two sixes. Andre Russell added late firepower with a blazing 38 off 21 balls, smashing four sixes at a strike rate of 180.95.

Sunil Narine provided an explosive start, scoring 26 off 17, while Manish Pandey contributed a steady 36 off 28. Despite early wickets and a few stutters in the middle, KKR’s batters kept the scoreboard ticking.

Noor Ahmad was the pick of the bowlers for CSK, claiming four wickets for 31 runs in his quota of four overs. Ravindra Jadeja chipped in with a key dismissal and kept things tight in the middle overs.
