The event, proudly title-sponsored by Jai Balaji Group and organized by Sportiz, saw participants from all walks of life, including para athletes, celebrating endurance and inclusivity.

Thousands of runners, from first-timers to seasoned athletes, took to the streets, making this the largest edition of the marathon yet. The route included Red Road, Maidan, Park Street, and several key arterial roads, with the event also featuring a new Half Marathon category for the first time. Fitness icon Milind Soman and his wife Ankita Konwar were present as brand ambassadors, adding star power to the celebrations.

Traffic in central Kolkata faced significant disruptions from 4 am to 1 pm, with several roads closed or restricted to ensure the safety of participants. Key areas affected include Red Road, JL Nehru Road, AJC Bose Road, New Road, Dufferin Road, Khidderpore Road, Casuarina Avenue, Hospital Road, Lovers Lane, and Park Circus 7-point crossing.
