London-headquartered technology company Nothing is taking its 'Make in India' initiatives to the next level with the release of its Phone (3a) series, which has been produced in Chennai. The launch comes after Nothing achieved its 577% year-over-year growth in India in 2024, with the company being the fastest-growing smartphone brand in the nation. The Chennai plant has over 500 employees, 95% of whom are female. Nothing has grown its after-sales network to five single-brand service centers and 300 multi-brand centers, and raised its retail presence from 2,000 to 7,000 stores. This growth supports India's vision of becoming a global manufacturing hub and Nothing's plan to solidify its foothold in the Indian market.
