The India Paddle Festival 2025 has commenced with a spectacular opening ceremony at Sasihithlu Beach in Mangalore. The second edition of the festival, from March 7 to 9, promises an electrifying mix of international SUP racing, cultural events, and adventure movies. World No. 2 Christian Andersen and former World Champion Daniel Hasulyo are among the top international paddlers competing against India's young stars such as Sekar Patchai.
Organized by the Surfing Swami Foundation and promoted by Incredible India and Karnataka Tourism, the event is aimed at promoting water sports tourism in Karnataka. The event features live music, a movie festival, and a vibrant beachside festival experience, thus making the event a showpiece in the sporting calendar of India.
