PV Sindhu Drops to 15th, Lakshya Sen Holds Steady in Latest BWF Rankings

In the latest Badminton World Federation (BWF) rankings released on February 18, 2025, Indian shuttler PV Sindhu has slipped to the 15th position in women's singles. This marks a decline from her previous 12th place ranking. On the men's side, Lakshya Sen has maintained his position in the top 10, currently ranked 10th in the world. The rankings reflect recent performances in international tournaments, including the India Open. South Korea's An Se Young continues to dominate the women's singles as world No. 1, while China's Shi Yu Qi leads the men's singles rankings. These rankings are crucial as players aim to secure better seedings in upcoming tournaments and improve their Olympic qualification chances.
