AION-Tech’s subsidiary ROQIT has partnered with Indian Railways to develop an AI-powered, sustainable parcel logistics platform. Starting with a South Central Railway pilot in early 2026, the initiative aims to digitize, decarbonize, and modernize India’s parcel movement by merging rail efficiency with electric last-mile mobility and real-time transparency.
In a major step toward sustainable and intelligent logistics, Indian Railways has awarded a pilot project to ROQIT, a wholly-owned subsidiary of AION-Tech Solutions, to develop an AI-driven parcel delivery network. The pilot will launch with South Central Railway in early 2026 and expand nationwide in phases.
ROQIT’s platform integrates rail transport with electric-first and last-mile connectivity through its EV-focused arm, ETO Motors. Designed as a cloud-native, mobile-first ecosystem, it enables predictive scheduling, real-time tracking, instant bookings, paperless payments, and a marketplace model—letting customers choose logistics partners based on cost, speed, and environmental impact.
According to ROQIT CEO Pavan Chavali, the collaboration represents “India’s next-generation, end-to-end logistics ecosystem.” The initiative supports India’s Net-Zero vision by replacing fossil-fueled logistics with efficient, low-emission rail-electromobility synergy.
