Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) announced the appointment of Mr. Bobby Parikh as an Independent Director on its Board, effective from December 1, 2025, for a five-year term until November 30, 2030. This appointment follows a recommendation by the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and is subject to shareholder approval. Alongside his role as Independent Director, Mr. Parikh will assume the position of Chairman of the Risk Management Committee and also serve as a member of the Audit Committee.
Mr. Parikh brings decades of strategic advisory experience, having guided numerous large corporations through complex transformations within India’s dynamic policy environment. His current directorships include Infosys, Biocon, and Indostar Capital. He co-founded BMR Advisors and has held senior leadership positions at Ernst & Young India and Arthur Andersen. As a qualified Chartered Accountant with a Commerce degree from the University of Mumbai, Mr. Parikh’s rich expertise in financial strategy and regulatory frameworks positions him well to contribute significantly to HUL’s governance and growth.
