RailTel Corporation of India Ltd has won two major orders amounting to ₹1.68 billion, further establishing its stronghold in the railway technology segment. The firm won a ₹1.11 billion order from South Central Railway for supplying, installing, testing, and commissioning Multi-Protocol Level Switching (MPLS) and IP-based video surveillance systems. Apart from this, RailTel also won an independent order of ₹566.6 million, albeit the terms of this contract are not disclosed. These achievements reflect the significance of RailTel in the process of updating India's rail infrastructure and improving passenger security. The orders will be seen to enhance RailTel's top-line and highlight its technology prowess in the transport business.
